Outstanding Volunteer Spotlight: Holy Cross Catholic School

Continuing with our Volunteer Spotlight Series, GRACE is honored to recognize Outstanding Volunteer, Carrie Dhooge. She was presented with this award at a Mass on December 13th.

Carrie is a graduate of Holy Cross Catholic School. When her family decided to move back to Green Bay in the summer of 2024, she knew right away that she wanted her family to have the opportunity to be part of the school, and church community, that brought her so many blessings throughout her childhood. Carrie saw a “Help Needed” advertisement for school volunteers and knew she could step in to answer the call. She began assisting children and teachers in classrooms shortly thereafter and hasn’t stopped since! The school community continues to provide an environment Carrie feels blessed to be a part of, not only during her childhood but now as a mother herself.

Congratulations and thanks to Carrie for her unwavering support to our students and school!
