GRACE Hires New Headmaster at Classical School

Headmaster

GRACE Schools (Green Bay Area Catholic Education) is thrilled to announce that Mr. Eric Schreiber has been appointed as the new Headmaster of St. John Paul II Classical School and Chesterton Academy of St. John Paul II Classical School in Green Bay, Wisconsin!

Mr. Schreiber brings a wealth of experience in Catholic classical education, most recently serving as Headmaster at Divine Mercy Academy in Belgrade, Montana. He is currently completing his Ph.D. in Theology and Leadership from St. Thomas University in Miami, where his research focuses on building Catholic classical schools. With a strong foundation in theology, school leadership, and student formation, Mr. Schreiber has served in numerous impactful roles including Dean of Upper School, theology teacher, and athletic director. His leadership is grounded in the Catholic faith and a commitment to excellence in education.

GRACE President, Kimberly A. Desotell indicates, “It is with great joy and gratitude to God, we welcome Mr. Eric Schreiber as the new Headmaster of St. John Paul II Classical School. Mr. Schreiber is a leader whose deep faith, unwavering integrity, and commitment to Catholic education will guide our community into a future rooted in Christ’s truth and love. We are blessed to have his expertise as we support him to lead with wisdom and a servant’s heart.”

Mr. Schreiber reflected on what this opportunity means to him, “Catholic education was never intended to function in isolation but is understood as part of a divinely ordained triad – the family, the Church, and the school – working in harmonious concert to educate the human person in truth and virtue. The opportunity to serve as Headmaster of John Paul II and Chesterton Academy Classical School will allow me to be immersed in a community that truly desires to educate the whole person – mind, body and spirit. My wife, Lindsey, and I are blessed to be given such an opportunity.”

Mr. Schreiber will begin his new position as Headmaster on July 7, 2025. He will be moving to the Green Bay area with his wife, Lindsey, and their new puppy. Please join us in warmly welcoming Mr. Schreiber to our school family as we look ahead to an exciting new chapter for St. John Paul II and Chesterton Academy of St. John Paul II Classical School.
