I grew up in Wausau, Wisconsin and attended St. Norbert College. I hold a degree in Elementary Education with minors in both mathematics and music performance. I attended UW-Stout to attain my Reading Teacher license and am currently a graduate student at Cardinal Stritch University working towards my Masters in Educational Leadership. Before becoming Curriculum Coordinator, I was a teacher in the GRACE school system at Holy Family School for nine years. I taught mainly first grade but also taught second grade and served as a reading intervention teacher for one year. I am so excited to be starting this new role in the GRACE school system and look forward to this new adventure!
Inspiration: I am continuously inspired by the teachings of St. Francis and his “commitment to continuous discovery and understanding of one’s identity and one’s convictions (O’Connell, “Walking”).
