CatholicLink, a partnership of the preschool through college Catholic educational institutions in the Green Bay area (GRACE, Notre Dame Academy and St. Norbert College), is collaborating with Cardinal Gibbons High School in Raleigh, N.C., to host a National High School Leadership Conference for sophomores attending Catholic high schools across the diocese, state and country.

The conference will be held virtually on Saturday, April 17, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. CDT. The conference is free to students who attend Catholic high schools. To register, go to https://snc.edu/go/catholiclink.

“The conference is unique because it is designed and delivered by students for students,” said Mary Schaupp, executive director of CatholicLink. “Notre Dame Academy and Cardinal Gibbons High School students have developed the conference to be an engaging and dynamic opportunity for students to connect, collaborate and grow their leadership understanding and skills. St. Norbert College students from Michels Hall Service Program will lead the final session of the day, on goal setting, and will serve as ongoing mentors for the high school students.”

Leadership topics will include: What is Servant Leadership, Understanding Your Why, What Kind of Leader am I, Communication, Networking, Sharing With Your Community and Goal Setting. All participants will earn a leadership certificate.

CatholicLink hosted a virtual Middle School Leadership Conference on Feb. 24 for 23 students from Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School and Holy Family Catholic School (both of which are GRACE schools), led by students from Notre Dame Academy and Cardinal Gibbons High School.
