The GRACE school system is pleased to announce the new team members who comprise our Human Resources staff. They include Brenda Daming, who begins her role as Director of Human Resources on June 22, and Esperanza Carlos, our Administrative Assistant / Benefits Specialist since February.

Brenda brings eight years of human resources experience to the GRACE school system. She served at WS Packaging Group since 1997 and transitioned to the company’s Human Resources Department in 2012. “The most fulfilling part of working in Human Resources is building relationships based on trust and mutual respect with my fellow employees,” she said. “I am excited and honored to be joining the GRACE team. My goal was to find a position with a good organization with a good mission, filled with good people. I know I found that with GRACE.”

Brenda was born and raised in Green Bay, where she attended grade school at Annunciation and St. Jude schools and harbors fond memories of her Catholic education. “The dedicated educators and administrators created a wonderful foundation for me to grow in knowledge and faith,” she said. Brenda graduated from Green Bay West High School and went on to earn her associate’s degree from NWTC
and her bachelor’s degree from Lakeland University.

She and her husband, Chris, live in Luxemburg and have two adult children, Taylor and Hailee. In her free time, Brenda enjoys gardening, making jewelry and traveling. She especially loves visiting national parks. “I love to
see all the beauty that God has created in these amazing, natural settings,” she said. Brenda also volunteers at the Wisconsin Humane Society.

Brenda will work in close coordination with Esperanza, who also noted she is “very proud” to be part of the team supporting all GRACE employees. In addition to serving as our Administrative Assistant / Benefits Specialist, Esperanza spends a portion of each week working as an Administrative Assistant at St. Thomas More Catholic School. Overall, Esperanza has been a GRACE employee for nearly two years.

In fall 2020, Esperanza’s daughter will be a kindergartner at St. Thomas More Catholic School.

Esperanza earned her degree from NWTC. She and Humberto live in Green Bay, and their family enjoys traveling, camping, biking and exploring the outdoors.
